The two ladies were just sitting down to tea when the body hit the garden.
"Oh, dear, Miriam, it appears to be raining men!" Octavia said, setting down her cup and pushing back her chair. Her companion looked up doubtfully at the leaden clouds.
"It's only sprinkling," she retorted, but she stayed where she was under the awning.
Miriam approached the body, and yelped in fright when he sat up, bruised and battered, but whole.
"Targeting seems a bit off, but I seem to be in one piece. What time is it?"
"Teatime," Octavia said, pouring him a third cup.
