Reaching the venue, I park my car and enter inside.
The first thing I notice is the decoration and to say I am utterly surprised would be an understatement.
                          
The whole set-up is beautiful ... but that's not what surprised me.
The whole area is decorated with orchids and the theme is red and white.
                          
I have never ever seen Dan like orchids in the ten years we have known each other, he hates them ... and red and white is not his favourite combination.
                          
And here he has planned the biggest event of his life amidst hundreds of orchids ...
                          
I guess its true that love changes people. He can be a great example.
He has gone a long way to make this event special for her ...
Everything is according to her liking. Even little things depict her taste. I can't even fathom how much he loves her to do all this ... 
My heart constricts painfully at the thought alone.
Tears burn at the back of my eyes and I do my best to hold them back because I can't let them fall ... not yet, just not yet.
                          
I straighten my slumped shoulders, gaining my composure back as I make my way to the room he informed me that he would be in.
                          
I don't know when I will be able to talk face to face with him again because I will be flying to Los Angeles tonight ... while he will be starting his new life with her here. 
So, I decide to take the oppurtunity of talking to him right now. It seems lately he doesn't even have a single minute to spare on me. 
Of course how could he?... when he has been so busy with his fiancee.
                          
I can't expect us to meet and spend time together like old times,... not when he has a fiancee to spend all his time with.
                          
One shouldn't expect too much from someone because when those expectations are not met, they come tumbling down ... crushing you beneath them and I am telling you this from experience.
