Chapter 11: Alex's confession

                                    

                                              



Anna's POV
                          
Luckily I Managed to find the kitchen. Just that I would not call it a kitchen. It was huge and would have atleast 12 people icluding the chefs and helpers. 

                          
I entered the kitchen and saw mixed reactions. Most of them just glanced at me and went back to what they were doing. However, one of them started to walk towards me. He was a middle aged man, a little chubby with a stubble and no hair on his head. Yes he was a bald, fat man but he was a kind bald, fat man. 

                          
"Hello Mademoiselle! May I help you with anything?", I could sense that he was not like others. He didnt seem to degrade the human race. 
                          
I looked at him with a sad expression and before I could say anything he started to speak. 
                          
"Zelda get madam something to eat. She is hungry?"
                          
I looked at him thankfully. He cleared a table and made me some place to eat my meal. I hate to admit but Zelda threw the food in front of me as if I was a dog. However, the man encouraged me. He came near me and patted my shoulder.
                          
"Mademmoiselle, you need to be brave otherwise you will not last a day". He started to walk away. As soon as he got near the hob, he turned around and smiled at me,
                          
"My name is Hugo. If you need any help anytime  you can come to me". I thanked him and started to eat the beautiful and tender stake. I can't even begin to explain how much I missed food!!!!
                          
After finishing my meal I headed out. Not to my surprise I was greeted by the haunted corridors. I started to walk in any direction. Whoever designed this made sure that it stayed very complicated. I was getting bored of walking. 

                          
"Don't worry, I still get lost here and I have been here for a decade", I jumped as Alex spoke behind me. 

                          
"Sorry if I scared you. I just came here to escort you to your room and Harry wanted me to let you know that the room is stacked with you clothes and other necessities", he uttered with a very caring face.
                          
"Thanks Alex. That's very nice of you. Do I need to stay with him", I made a disgusted face when I said HIM.
                          
He gently held my hand and started to walk with me. I could sense that he wanted to say something. So I held his hand tightly to give him a boost. After my actions I could see the element of surprise in his eyes.
                          
After a few seconds he started to speak, "Ana....you see.......well after Mon passed away....."
                          
I cut him in the middle, "Mon"  

                          
He chuckled at my curosity. "Well Monica, my mate. I was sent on a mission to kill a family. They were business rivals. So Harry sent me to clear the mess up. Alpha Andrew is a very soft hearted person but Harry is somewhat different", he inhaled and resumed.
                          
"When I reached there Monica mind linked me.....", I could see tears flowing in his eyes.

Mon: Where are you Alex? I am so bored without you.
                          
Alex: I am just near the docks honey. I will be back soon.
                          
Mon: Hey, I am near the docks too. Where are you and what are you doing here?
                          
Alex: Mon what the hell are you doing there. Get out right now.
                          
Mon: Alex what's going on?
                          
Alex: Tell me your exact location.
                          
Mon: I am with Mr Thomson. Why what's ..............
