Chapter 9- Cyber bullying

                                    

                                              
After a five minutes of Mr Johnson doing the register and people doing the questions on page one hundred and nineteen, he stopped them and said "sorry for disturbing you but you can finish those questions after I speak to you. Now what did we talk about last lesson." As he said that some students hands raise up and he decided to choose someone in the third row. "Well you asked if bullying is still a thing in today's society and if we said yes to that question then you wanted us to think of a way to stop bullying or decrease the percentage of bullying which happens through social media and in every day life." said Ali. "Correct Ali . So does bullying still happen?" Said Mr Johnson and as he said that most of people in class said yes without any hesitation. "Good me too I feel like bullying still happens even those there has been so many ads and so much advice out there to stop bullying but even if with all this information to help to stop bullying. It still happens which is sad. Now you guys are the future and it's your turn to shine and stop bullying for continuing in the later future, so shot some of your ideas at me on how to stop bullying." Said Mr Johnson.

                          
But no one raised there hand to give any of there ideas as they didn't have any, so Mr Johnson picked Leila from random. "Leila any ideas?" "*sighs* Not really sir. I have brought this point up before but I don't understand how people get bullied over the internet, but in real life it's a different story. However when your online no one knows what you like or how you sound or who you are. Unless you decide to say something really dumb, racist, sexiest or something which will offend a group, then people will start to hate you which develops into bullying. Or if you post picture of yourself then people will know what your look like. Bullying is a thing but cyber bullying isn't."
                          
"What do you mean by that?" Said Mr Johnson in a intrigued tone of voice. "Cyber bully isn't a thing in my opinion, most people on the internet try and act completely different to how they would act in real life. But if you use a random word for username, use a picture from the internet of anything and keep what you do in real life a secret then you should be fine. And make sure that if you are going to use the internet then you better have a thick skin for those people who want to hate on you."

                          
Once Leila said that Mr Johnson started to applaud her answer and then he said "not a bad answer." "Thank you sir, I was just saying my opinion though." Said Leila. "Even so it's was a good answer. However you say this but I would have to disagree. I do believe that cyber bullying still happens because of one video which I have seen yesterday. Now I'm going to put it on and by the end of the video Leila I'm going to ask you if the person in this video is dumb for not doing the some of the things which you brought up in your point." Said Mr Johnson. After about ten minutes into the video people in class started to get bored as the person voice in the video was boring and, she wasn't trying to make the video interesting at all so some students started talking to each other. While other people started to go on their phones but Leila, Lynsey and Lyla found the video interesting to some extent and decided to pay full attention to the video. Suddenly out of nowhere Leila phone started to vibrant in her pocket but she didn't take her phone out at first, as she thought that it was just notifying her about a clash of dams a game which she played from time to time. But then her phone vibrated three times in row her pocket so she took it out and look at slowly so that Mr Johnson didn't notice her. Her eyes then shot open when she found that Felix had messaged her.

                          
The message said "hey Leila I know it's been a very long time since we last spoke but I wanted to talk to you. I have I been through a lot stuff so I didn't really have time to message you sooner but I would like to talk you in person soon." As she saw this message she text him straight back saying "wait hold on. How on earth did you get this number in the first place? I had to change my number because some weirdo got it so I had to get a new one." She then put her phone on the table and waited for Felix to text back but at the same time she was wondering how earth did he get her number and then she started to think that Lynsey or Lyla gave her number to him and were pretending that they haven't spoken to him since year ten. So she turned around to try and grab Lynsey and Lyla attention to ask them if they had given Felix her number or known someone who would of given it to him. "Hey Lynsey. Lyla." She whispered but both of them didn't hear her as they were so focused into the video so Leila pulled out her rubber and threw it at Lynsey arm.

                          
As the rubber hit Lynsey arm, Lynsey looked in Leila directions and saw that she was trying to grab her attention. "What is it Leila?" Said Lynsey in quite voice. "Did you or Lyla give my new number to Felix? Or do you know anyone which would of given my number to Felix?" Said Leila. "No I haven't spoken to him since year ten and I don't think Lyla has either, and I don't think we know anyone who would of given his number to him." While Lynsey was saying this to Leila, Lyla heard them talking about Felix. "What are you two talking about?" Lyla asked. "Check your guys phone in a second, I'm going to show you guys a screen shot of message which I got a minute ago." Said Leila. As she said that Lynsey and Lyla pulled out their phones and Leila sent the screenshot to both of them. Once they both got Leila screenshot she could see that they were both shocked that Felix had message her. "That's impossible, how on earth did he get your number." Asked Lynsey puzzled. "I don't know but he got it some how, are you guys one hundred percent sure you guys don't know anyone who would give my new number to him?" Asked Leila. Both of them shook there heads no and then Lyla said "It could be one of his new friends." As soon as Lyla said that Mr Johnson stop the video and said "is there problem bet..." Before he could finish his sentence someone started to knock on the classroom door which made Mr Johnson sigh and then he said "you may enter."
