*Back in Madartain, at the open field*
Zeke: Hey Brandon
Brandon: What?
Zeke: *activates Aster* I've been thinking *threw the pistols at Brandon*
Brandon: Oph *catches* wait, why did you give this to me?
Zeke: *fight stance* try shooting me, don't hesitate.
Brandon: Eh?! Are you sure?
Zeke: *intent look* bring it.
Brandon: *points the pistol at Zeke* okay then! *starts shooting, but Brandon misses every shot*
Zeke: *evades consecutive shots* Not bad, but your accuracy's a bit off.
Brandon: You know *huff huff* I never held a gun before.
Zeke: Never held a gun before? *stops* You look like a cowboy holding that gun. Shootin' tootin'!
Brandon: pfft, well then ol' timer... *does a cowboy pose* DRAW! *shots*
Zeke: *smiles* Amphibion... *waves his left hand then releases an energy burst, obliterating the gun's energy bullet*
Brandon: Whoa whoa whoa WHOAA! *evades the blast* *heavy breathing* WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!
Zeke: *stands properly* Even without an Aster, I am an independent warrior.
Brandon: You don't say? You're an Andriod! *threw the pistols at Zeke*
Zeke: No, that's not what I'm trying to say. *catches the pistols, then deactivates it* Remember that raw skill partakes an important role when your ETC is exhausted.
Brandon: *confused look* I'm not sure what you're trying to say...
Zeke: The lack of focus and concentration on your mind, causes your Elemental Trait to overload. Remember that your trait's Acumen, meaning it bases itself intellectually. Since you were on an outrage, you can't calculate attacks well.
Brandon: But exhausted? Are you sure that's the correct term?
Zeke: Remember that the circuits are like computer chips. *smiles* Processing power yada-yada, too much stress... something like that.
Brandon: Wow, you really explained it well... *worried chuckle*
Sarah: *from the distance* HYAH!
Brandon: Huh? *looks at Sarah, wielding 2 wooden swords*
Zeke: *walks to Brandon* well, your sister's working hard huh?
Brandon: Well, she doesn't want to be a burden to the team, and she wants to stop Nova in case he goes out of control again.
Zeke: *nods*
Sarah: *strikes at Jarkhal* *heavy breathing* I can wield a sword, but my left is my weak hand...
